Our commitment is to work with you to ensure the health and well-being of your pets. Our goal is to provide a positive experience for you and your pet, and we believe that begins by starting off on the right foot (and paw)!

 

To help you get to know our clinic better, we are including some of our basic costs so that you can decide if we are the right fit for your fur family.

 

  • Examination/Consultation: $162.00 + tax
  • Annual Exam & Vaccines: $192.00 + tax (includes any two vaccinations)
  • Puppy/Kitten Wellness Exams $171.00 + tax (includes core vaccinations rabies, FVRCP, Leukemia, DAPP)
  • Follow-up Exam (recheck exam): $114.00 + tax for the first exam, no charge for additional follow up exams if required

 

Listed below are a few of the current programs available to enroll in at PEVC, dedicated to provide comprehensive health care for all stages of life.

 

  • Healthy Start Program designed to support the care of puppies and kittens in their first year of life. This program ensures essential care including wellness checks, vaccinations, prevention and spay & neuter procedures at a discounted rate.
  • Pet Health Club, a preventative healthcare membership that helps owners manage the cost of routine treatments for their cats and dogs. With monthly or yearly payment plans, this annual plan assists in giving your pet the routine care recommended as well as preventative care.
  • A Senior Wellness Program can help ensure that dogs and cats aged 7+ receive complete and proactive care to support healthy aging.

CONSENT FOR COMMUNICATION & MEDIA USE

The Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (“CASL”) prohibits the sending of any electronic messages that are commercial in nature unless the sender has received the recipients' express consent prior to sending the message. Our practice therefore requires your written consent to send you any electronic messages. While most of our communications are related to your pet’s health, some may contain commercial activities such as promotions, special events, or fundraising activities. Please note that if you do not consent, you will not receive ANY communications from our practice on any matter.
 

We also like to feature patients on our social media account(s), whether it be a success story, an interesting visit or the animal is just too cute not to. For us to responsibly take these videos and/or pictures we need to be granted your permission to use them on our social media account(s). Please keep in mind that your consent can be revoked at any time, but images and videos used during active consent will remain, though no further use of the images or videos will take place. A removal request can be made and will be reviewed, depending on the video and/or image we will try and remove it as requested but, in some cases, removal will not be possible, so please bear that in mind when consenting.

POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By signing below, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

 

  • I allow the staff of PEVC to call my previous clinics for my pet’s medical history to review.
  • I hereby consent that the information filled out above is to a true and honest nature.
  • I understand that PEVC may decline my application if the clinic and/or their team sees fit.
  • I hereby consent that I am over the age of 18 and are the legal owner of the pet(s) listed above.
  • I understand the PEVC does have a policy in place that all pets must stay up to date on their Rabies vaccine at minimum. I agree to adhere to this policy. Should I decline this service, I understand that my pet’s medical care will need to be transferred to an alternative clinic.
  • I understand that PEVC does not offer after hours care in hospital. Should an emergency arise, there will be a virtual veterinary available for assistance however if my pet needs to be seen in person, I am willing to travel out of town. Vetwise is available 24-7 and clients will be directed to this number through PEVC’s voicemail outside our 8 to 5 Monday to Friday operating hours. Bluewater Emergency clinic in Owen Sound is available for in hospital needs from Friday 6pm to 6am Mondays and all Statutory Holidays.
  • I understand that in the case of multiple pets in 1 household that the first examinations for each pet will need to be scheduled on different dates and/or times. This is to help ensure that the staff of PEVC have enough time to discuss concerns and make the most of your appointment time.
  • I will interact with the clinic staff with respect at all times. In person or over phone/email. Should I not adhere to this policy, I understand that PEVC has a strict no tolerance policy to verbal and/or physical abuse towards staff and will be fired as a client from the clinic.
