Madilynn

Madilynn joined the team at Port Elgin in June of 2022 as their hospital manager. Madilynn has been working in veterinary medicine since 2012. She has worked in general practice as well as emergency and critical care and can’t decide which one she loves more! She has an interest in fear-free practice as well as preventative care. Aside from her hands-on skills, she is hoping to help guide the team at PEVC in ensuring gold standard care is practiced for all of our patients. 

Madilynn is a graduate of Conestoga College with a biology diploma in human anatomy and physiology. She is also a graduate of Olds College with a diploma in Veterinary Practice Management.  Madilynn believes in the importance of continuing education and that there is always room for improvement as the veterinary world is always evolving. 

At home, Madilynn has 2 cats and 1 Guinea pig. However, in her picture, you will see her dog that is sadly no longer with us. She will be adding another dog to her family soon! The 3 pets at home sure keep her busy but in her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family. As well as enjoying the sunsets of Saugeen shores.
